John named a Canon Ambassador
I’m thrilled to announce that earlier this year I became a Canon Ambassador in Canada, joining a very select group of photographers that get to test gear and promote Canon products.
Last month I was fortunate enough to get to spend a week testing Canon’s latest and greatest technology, the Canon EOS R5 and R6 mirrorless camera bodies and the new 100-500 F4.5-7.1, 600mm F11 and 800mm F11 supertelephoto DO lenses. Stay tuned later this week for a full review of the cameras and lenses (with lots of pictures) here on the blog.

Is the bear in your shot on this entry, #142, a sow with a single large cub that I have seen along the Parkway this spring, early summer?
